South American or Castelo Boxwood (Calycophyllum Multiflorum) is also known as Palo Blanco or Ivorywood. Used as an alternative to true European Boxwood (Buxus Sempervirens), its colour and texture is comparable to true Boxwood. The heartwood is a light brown to pale yellowish colour; the grain tends to be straight to slightly interlocked with a fine, uniform texture with a slightly lustrous appearance.
