European Walnut (Juglans Regia) is a very popular wood for all manner of crafts, perhaps due to its wide range of colour and figure. Heartwood can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. It can sometimes have a grey or reddish cast. The grain is usually straight, but can be irregular.
We have a huge quantity of walnut in stock, including lengths of up to 3m (4" wide) suitable for projects such as stringed instruments. We also have a wide variety of Burr Walnut available in various sizes. Please drop us a line with your requirements.
