0.6mm thick veneer.

Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia Latifolia) is often used as a substitute for the rarer species of Rosewood, as it is similar in colour and texture. The heartwood of Indian Rosewood can vary from a golden brown to a deep purplish brown with darker brown streaks. The wood darkens with age, usually becoming a deep brown. The grain is interlocked and the texture is moderately smooth.

Indian Rosewood is listed in CITES appendix II, and is on the IUCN Red List as vulnerable.
