Walnut (Australian) (102)

While resembling Walnut, Australian Walnut is not related to the Walnut family. The heartwood varies from light pink to brown to grey and is often contrasted by dark irregular stripes when quarter cut. The wood’s grain is usually interlocked and often wavy. Texture is medium with a moderate natural lustre and shallow open pores.

This wood species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
